Established in 1991, Moonstar's original San Francisco location was well known as the best upscale seafood buffet in the Bay Area. Due to Covid-19, we are not longer operating as a buffet. We are currently closed for take-out and dine-in. We are opened for private events and catering only. Please contact us to inquire information of room rates and menus. In the late 2000’s, we moved to Daly City where our business continued to flourish. In Daly City, we were recognized as the destination for large parties and gatherings with loved ones for birthdays and other celebrations of life. It was in 2015 when we expanded our catering business to specialize in healthy and affordable meals for seniors, under our sister company, MoonChef. We turned to a new chapter at the beginning of 2021, when we moved into our central kitchen in South San Francisco, where we can take advantage of our cutting-edge equipment to produce newer and tastier food. What does this mean? We made a lot of history with you. Over the last 30 years, we kept reinventing ourselves so that we can offer better variety and quality to our fans. We aimed to make an impact in and out of the restaurant space. To the Moonstar family, you are our business. You are the reason that we thrive to provide good food and great service.
